Like the idea of meditation but can't get the hang of it?
Meditation is a way of finding calmness within. You will experience ways to stop thoughts from 'flitting about' in your mind, enjoying calmness and relaxation in a comfortable small group setting.
There are many Meditation Techniques and in a relaxed, informal and enjoyable way we aim to give you the opportunity to try ways of calming mental activity (the thoughts that often seem to flit about preventing that quietness of mind that can help support inner peace). Some examples of methods included are focus on the breath, counting, use of sound, bringing yourself into 'the moment', guided visualisation.

This is a meditation workshop exploring our potential to become aware of the greater part of us that is energy and light and beginning to build a foundation for growth in the light. We will be helping to build a more peaceful inner you , able to affect your every day life positively throught the techniques you will be trying in the workshop. The content is designed mainly for those who are interested in spiritual development but who may be a bit nervous or unsure about the way forward. We aim to help you develop some confidence and gain knowledge and experience that you can build on. There will be several meditation approaches for you to experience and a booklet and attendance certificate to take home.
We will be experiencing mantras, conscious breathing, visualisation and meditations to meet your guides, enabling you to become the highest expression of who you are right now....and much more.
This will be a peaceful, calm and relaxing day in a small group setting.

First of all Reiki is about our own path of development. Going back to the origins of Reiki, this was the main focus for students of Usui Micau in Japan. We have a marvellous tool for self transformation but are we using it fully? are we aware of the possibilities?
OBJECTIVES:
To begin using Reiki, meditation and other techniques to create a greater connection with the light whilst assisting growth on all levels to support this ( e.g. the physical , mental and emotional bodies).
